DC Street League Skateboard Tour Photography

I had the pleasure of shooting DC's Steet League Skateboarding Pro Tour this past weekend.  I was honored to share the Media floor with such outlets as ESPN 2, MTV, Thrasher Magazine and many more.  My dear friend Alexandra Madrid accompanied me as my assistant for the day (mostly to hang with me as we cruised the event).  Alex kindly pointed out I was the ONLY female photographer in the Press section! That was exciting!!

Having had a previous interest in Skating, I was thrilled to be inches away from Eric Koston and all of the other heavy hitters in the pro circuit.  I was so happy to see how receptive these guys were to their fans! Most were happy to sign posters and decks throughout the entire event.  Overall, this event was so much fun to shoot and an honor to be apart of.
